Puppy & Kitten Yoga

Puppy & Kitten Yoga

These classes help raise funds for vet care and supplies, and to create awareness of animals needing foster care and forever homes!

This yoga class is perfect for animal lovers! Enjoy puppies and kitties on your yoga mat wiggling their noses in your downward dog and asking for cuddles in your savasana! Socialization at an early age is beneficial to each animal’s learning and development. For humans, interacting with pets boosts mood and reduces stress. Puppy & Kitten Yoga is the ultimate heartwarming class and supports a great cause!

Meet our Collaborators

One At A Time (OAAT) is an animal rescue organization focusing primarily on orphan kittens and puppies. OAAT began when a crazy cat lady and crazy dog lady joined forces to make magic happen. These two ladies saw a need and created an organization to make change in the lives of these sweet fur babies forever, providing them with the care needed, safe and loving environment to grow and develop. This lays the groundwork for these fur babies to find their loving furever home.  OAAT has no physical location as it is a foster-based rescue located in Brandon, Manitoba with fosters situated across Manitoba. OAAT relies heavily on fosters to help take in and care for these animals until they get adopted. This year alone OAAT has rescued 80 dogs and 310 cats. Any support big or small goes a long way and we could not continue do it without our supporters.

Paws Crossed Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre a 100% volunteer run and donation funded animal shelter just outside of Brandon Manitoba – servicing all of the Westman area. We are a registered not for profit awaiting our charity designation; operations are overseen by a board of directors including our on site manager, animal loving community members, and a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are not just meeting but exceeding provincial standards for operation. We like to say we are animal focused and community driven, with not a single paid position every dollar we receive via donation goes directly to animal care and shelter costs. We have a small dedicated group of volunteers who donate their time to keeping our facility running smoothly including our shelter manager who lives onsite. We take many types of animals – in the last year we have had dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgies, quail and even a pet chicken. Animals come into our care through a variety of avenues with a large portion coming in via animal control from rural municipalities without pound facilities.

Funds For Furry Friends is a nationally registered charity run by volunteers.  Our organization has been in operation since 2001 and is located in Brandon MB.  Each of our dogs are in the care of loving foster families, in a home environment until a FURever home is found!
