ALY, E-RYT 200
Aly is born and raised in Singapore. She was first introduced to Yoga when she was going through a difficult time of her life and experiencing anxiety and depression. She discovered the practice of yoga as a beacon of light that helped her through those times. Initially a physical practice, she slowly turned her focus to the subtle approach of yoga and it became an inward journey for her. Aly believes in making yoga accessible for everybody, and hopes to inspire her students to understand and create awareness of their own unique body and empower them with simple techniques to care for themselves.
Aly’s different passions and experiences takes her to all corners of the world; from India Rishikesh for her 200hr, a guest teacher at a resort in Maldives, Strala Yoga by Tara Stiles, Inside Flow, and now pursuing her 500hr Advanced Teacher Training with Yoga Medicine by Tiffany Cruikshank. Her classes are drawn from many different styles which weave into an intuitive blend of Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Yoga Therapy, Myofascial Release, Yoga with Music and Aromatherapy.
“Going to India for my Teacher Training was the highlight of my life. I met so many different people from all over the world but all came for one reason; to learn about themselves and to heal through yoga. It’s so amazing how yoga truly unites us all despite our differences.” – Aly

JULIE, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500
Julie was born and raised in Montana – land of the Big Sky and open spaces, and has lived in many different places. She currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has been teaching yoga since 2011 and is also a studio manager. Julie is passionate about introducing and sharing yoga with others. The physical aspects of yoga initially were what drew her to a practice. Then, as a result of an injury in 2000, she experienced first hand the healing aspects of a regular yoga practice. Ever since, in addition to the physical, it has been the more spiritual and subtle elements of yoga that have sustained and energized her, both in her own practice as well as in her teaching.
Julie, a graduate of Inner Peace Yoga Therapy in 2017, loves working with individuals to create a personalized practice based on their particular needs. She specializes in chronic pain, breath awareness, and auto immune disorders. Her classes embrace many different styles of yoga which include vinyasa, flow, heated fusion, sculpt, restorative, yin, yoga nidra, meditation and therapeutics. Julie is also a Certified Yoga of the Heart® and Certified Pain Yoga Teacher.
“My first teacher training was transformational and life changing. A corporate downsize from a busy and stressful job led me to do some soul searching – what do I want to do for the rest of my life? I made a list of qualities of what my ‘dream job’ would include, not knowing what that job would be. Ironically, the top two qualities I listed were ‘love what I do’ and ‘flexibility.’ Then, while walking on a beach in Zihuatanejo, Mexico it hit me like a ton of bricks. I love yoga and most definitely it is flexible in more ways than one! I signed up for a teacher training the second I got back to the states and I’ve never looked back.” – Julie
