Inspire Yoga Studio Instructors
Our certified instructors offer a modern, evolved style of yoga that emphasizes awareness of breath, intelligent movement and sequences, that help to promote ease in daily life, on and off the mat.

Laura
My love for health and community has led me to a full-time career in Recreation. Yoga found me at a (perfect, but) fragile time in my life and has completely transformed how I live. I began teaching yoga in 2016 after receiving Manitoba Fitness Council Certification and graduated from my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2020. My intention is to guide all students of yoga in a way that allows them to leave the mat in a better place than when they arrived. I wish for my students to be present, to feel held, and most importantly, to have fun! I am here to assist you in finding whatever you are looking for when you step onto your mat.

Catherine
My happy place other than my yoga mat is out riding my horse, surrounded by nature. I am a Registered Nurse on a Behavioural Treatment Unit for acute dementia and also a farmwife. My yoga practice has been on and off for about a decade, and more consistent in the last 5 years. My goal is to find balance and maintain my activity level with horses, on the farm and in my work life. My particular areas of interest in yoga are restorative, yin, chair yoga and meditation; any practice that acknowledges the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga. I believe that anyone can practice yoga, no matter what challenges they may encounter. I am excited to be on this yoga journey with you.

Leah
In 2015 I began implementing yoga into my life as a physical practice, but what came about my journey was so much more than that! Ever since then, my mat has been a safe space, a place of discovery, and a place for growth. After graduating from my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2020, I further deepened my practice and connected with many yogis and yoga teachers across the globe. I am also an Education student at Brandon University and hope to implement mindfulness into my classroom in the future. My highest joy is to create a space where we can connect back to ourselves through mindful movement, breathwork, and sound! You can expect elements of creativity and expression in our classes together, along with a strong backbone of traditional asanas and deep breaths!

Brooke
Originally from Saskatchewan and currently living in Shilo with her spouse, Brooke has always had an active lifestyle and played many sports growing up. She began practicing yoga in 2013, at first to work on her flexibility, but soon realized that yoga is so much more than a physical practice, and kept coming back for the mental and emotional benefits. Since becoming a Yoga Teacher, Brooke has taught hundreds of group classes; online and in-person. Yoga has taught her how to be kind, and how to love and appreciate herself and the people and environment around her. Brooke is passionate about living well and supporting others who want to do the same. When she’s not practicing yoga, Brooke can be found with her dog Bernie, outside immersed in nature; walking, hiking, bike riding or rock climbing!

Jodie
Born and raised in Brandon, Jodie is a mom of two kids who works as Career Development Consultant with the Province of Manitoba. Discovering fitness classes as a form of self-care several years ago led her on a path to certifications in both Barre and Pilates, and is currently a Yoga Teacher in training. Committed to creating a safe, welcoming, accessible environment in her classes, expect professional and positive programming with a focus of joyful movement. When not teaching, Jodie enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, watching movies, reading true crime books, napping and listening to music!
