Laura
My love for health and community has led me to a full-time career in Recreation. Yoga found me at a (perfect, but) fragile time in my life and has completely transformed how I live. I began teaching yoga in 2016 after receiving Manitoba Fitness Council Certification and graduated from my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2020. My intention is to guide all students of yoga in a way that allows them to leave the mat in a better place than when they arrived. I wish for my students to be present, to feel held, and most importantly, to have fun! I am here to assist you in finding whatever you are looking for when you step onto your mat.

Jodie
Born and raised in Brandon, Jodie is a mom of two kids who works as Career Development Consultant with the Province of Manitoba. Discovering fitness classes as a form of self-care several years ago led her on a path to certifications in both Barre and Pilates, and is currently a Yoga Teacher in training. Committed to creating a safe, welcoming, accessible environment in her classes, expect professional and positive programming with a focus of joyful movement. When not teaching, Jodie enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, watching movies, reading true crime books, napping and listening to music!

Karyn
As a military wife for 30 years, Karyn is no stranger to stress and change. An overseas posting in 2016 prompted her to lean on her yoga and meditation practice as a deep source of inspiration and strength. In 2019, Karyn faced the biggest challenge of her life, becoming a widow. Her yoga and meditation practice proved to be an instrumental tool in navigating grief trauma and she uses this experience to expand and inform her classes. Karyn believes that mindfulness, along with simple yoga, breathing and gratitude practices can improve resiliency and make a huge difference in quality of life. Recently returning to her hometown of Brandon, Karyn is eager to share her love of yoga with the community. She is currently retired and enjoys special adventures with her grandchildren, gardening, reading and travel.
